Pada media sosial, Hotman kini gencar memperingatkan para istri agar menjaga suaminya dari bahaya laten "pelakor" atau singkatan dari perebut laki orang.

Hotman mengatakan pada awak media bahwa ia dulu pernah terbuai dengan sosok artis yang tak disebutkan namanya itu.
"Dulu juga saya dulu, saya sempat 6 tahun benar benar terbuai dengan kelembutan seorang selebriti,
pada saat saya putus dengan artis tersebut, yah memang sih saya tidak pernah ninggalin rumah
tapi putus dengan si artis tersebut 100% menjadi bersama istri pertama berartikan istri pertama pemenang.
Coba dulu begitu saya jadian dengan artis tersebut istri pertama langsung gugat cerai,
akhirnya kan bisa-bisa istri pertama di pihak yang kalah kan" jelas hotman.

Walau tak menyebut nama namun patut diduga wanita yang dimaksud Hotman itu adalah artis Merriam Belina.
Hotman dan Merriam pernah terlibat skandal perselingkuhan sekitar 2010 lalu.
Hotman dan Merriam menjalin hubungan bukan dengan sembunyi-sembunyi melainkan terang-terangan.
Pengacara yang sudah beristri tersebut bahkan mengaku sudah menikahi Merriam di Amerika.
Tak hanya itu, Hotman juga menghadiahi Merriam dengan mobil ferarri, apartemen mewah hingga kapal pesiar.
Bahkan sejumlah saksi menyebut jika tiap akhir pekan Hotman bermalam di apartemen Merriam.
Namun hubungan ini menjadi kcau balau, usai Merriam melaporkan Hotman dengan tuduhan penganiayaan.
Berdasarkan laporan Merriam ke polisi, Hotman dituding sempat membanting dan mencekiknya karena dilanda cemburu.
