Syahrul Ramadan (34) warga Dusun Pasi, Gampong Bungkah, Kabupaten Aceh Utara terpaksan menghuni gubuk berukuran 3x3 yang dibuat menggunakan karung bekas semen sebagai tempat berteduh ia bersama istri dan dua anak.
Tepat di pinggir pantai Bungkah, Syahrul membuat gubuknya itu di atas tanah milik pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Utara.
Sudah satu bulan, dirinya menempati tempat itu untuk berteduh dari guyuran air hujan dan panasnya terik cahaya matahari.
“Sudah satu bulan kami tinggal di tempat ini, saya punya dua orang anak yang pertama namanya Akbar (3) dan anak ke dua belum saya beri nama karena masih berusia 10 hari,”kata Syahrul kepada AJNN, Senin (4/2).
Syahrul menambahkan, sehari-hari dirinya kerja serabutan, kadang-kadang sampai satu pekan dirinya terpaksa istirahat karena tidak ada tawaran untuk dirinya dapat bekerja.
Sementara Wati istri Syahrul sendiri pekerja upahan di sawah, namun pasca-melahirkan anak ke duanya istrinya itu belum bisa bantu bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi keluarganya.
“Kalau lagi enggak ada pekerjaan, disitulah kesulitan terbesar karena tidak bisa memenuhi kebutuhab keluarga, apalagi istri saya baru melahirkan, untuk kebutuhan bayi saya beli alakadarnya saja yang penting ada,” ungkap Syahrul.
Tidak ada cahaya penerang dari arus listrik, Syahrul hanya mengandalkan lilin ketika malam hari tiba untuk mendapatkan cahaya penerang.
Sementara kebutuhan bayi dan beras sesekali sering di bantu oleh tetangganya yang dermawan karena belas kasih melihat kehidupan mereka yang kesulitan.
“Saya pulang ke Aceh baru satu tahun, dulu saya di perantauan. Awalnya saya tinggal di tempat orangtua.
Karena orangtua sendiri kesulitan memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi lalu saya pindah ke rumah sewa. Setelah beberapa bulan tiggal di rumah sewa, saya tidak mampu membayar sewa tersebut.
Sehingga dengan persetujuan istri, saya buat rumah dari karung bekas semen ini. Yang penting ada, dan anak istri saya bisa berteduh,” ungkapnya.
Syahrul sangat berharap, semoga ada bantuan rumah yang layak yang dapat dihuninya.
Meskipun tidak mewah, minimal bisa membuat dua anaknya itu berteduh dengan tenang. Tanpa dihantui ketakutan ketika hujan dan angin tiba.
“Mudah-mudahan ada bantuan rumah, supaya anak saya bisa berteduh dengan tenang,” imbuhnya.
